Angry Birds: Sega Agrees To Buy Video Game Maker Rovio For $776 Million
The producer of Furious Birds computer games has consented to be purchased by the Japanese gaming monster behind the Sonic the Hedgehog character.
Japan's Sega Sammy Property is paying €706m (£625m) for Finland-based Rovio Amusement.
Rovio has said Irate Birds was the primary portable game to be downloaded one billion times, and the brand has additionally created two Furious Birds motion pictures.
Sega is trying to take advantage of Rovio's ability in versatile gaming.
